A herd of so-called "spider goats" have been photographed in a death-defying climb 50m up an Italian dam wall.
Incredible photographs show the Alpine Ibex goats scattered across the Cingino dam in the northern Italy, scaling the near-vertical rock face in the hunt for salt and minerals.

The animals normally live at altitudes of 4600m to protect themselves from predators.
The photographs have captured the attention of animal-lovers across the globe , including zoologist Jolle Jolles.
"I think they are one if not the most fascinating animals on our planet," Mr Jolles told photo agency Austral Press.
"Probably most of you might at first not agree, thinking of your favourite animal (like) the panda, lion or dolphin.
"But goats have more to offer than their great grazing abilities."
